This guide shows engineers how to select and crop the correct table area in a PDF drawing instead of processing the entire sheet. A focused data area reduces irrelevant information for KATA AI and can be extracted to Excel.
The Excel file is intermediate data that engineers can review, correct and continue using in the detailing workflow. For beam schedules, the prepared data can be imported into the structural plan, matched by beam name and used for beam reinforcement detailing.
