With 1 login account you can manage multiple licenses.
Each License is allowed to declare a “Machine seri”. You can freely change “Machine seri” that License has declared in CHANGE SERI.
“Machine seri” is a unique number for each computer, used to distinguish computers that are using Kata software. “Machine seri” will appear when you use the Kata software in case your computer not actived yet.
A registered computer is a computer with a “Machine seri” declared in a license provided that the license is valid.

According to the picture above, this account is currently managing 3 licenses: License 2, 3 is still valid and is being used for machines with a Series of 120443450, 1534562534, expired License 1 needs to be loaded with a key to renew.
Series 3 is online, so it has the right to change the serial number of the device to grant the right to use for another device, but this machine can only run Kata when there is an internet connection and cannot run Kata without internet connection. To be able to run when not connected to the internet need to switch to offline state. There are 2 ways to switch to offline status as follows:
Method 1 (used while connected to the internet): Log in to web katapro.net, click on the line "Online. Click to switch offline" then open Autocad and type "setupkata" then click "ok". Test the internet and run kata to test whether this transition has been successful.
Method 2 (used when not connected to the internet): Call to contact the Admin to provide your username and serial number. The admin will send you the offline code so you can perform state transitions. (Note the offline Admin code is valid for the day, so you need to use it right away)
Series 2 is offline, so License 2 temporarily loses its right to change its serial number. In order to change the serial number of the device, the device needs to be switched to online status.
If you want to switch to online state, open Autocad on the computer have serial number 120443450 (with internet connection), at Autocad screen you type the command "online_kata", then License 2 will switch to online status and you can change the device. OK. In case of wrong declaration of serial number and clicked offline, please send an email to the admin to handle the exchange for you.
For user convenience, the kata software allows you to change computers on the Autocad screen without having to go to katapro.net website. When your computer is out of trial and connected to the internet, you run commands such as vc, for example, will appear requiring email login and password. You log in with an account that has at least 1 license with a valid online status, Kata will automatically exchange the device for you.
